We know that choosing a preschool for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make.  Qualified Caregivers and Teachers. Excellent Curriculum. Creative Play. Safe Environment. These are all qualities parents look for when choosing a daycare and preschool for their child. As a parent, the choices you make today will shape all of your child's tomorrows! Studies have proven that during these precious years, the foundation of your child's lifelong intellectual, social and emotional development and being built.  Making positive choices, and setting a positive example, can lead to a lifetime of success for your child.

At Christian N. Cooper Primary & Preschool, we understand what families are looking for when one or both parents work.  We operate our center as if our own children were enrolled, and many of them are! Every choice we make, everything we do revolves around family – yours and ours.  We take pride in our staff, our abilities, and most of all – our quality of care and child education.  “Setting the standard in child education” is not just our slogan, it’s how we run our program.

We believe in the individuality of each child.  We learn your child's strengths and build on them with stimulating activities and lots of positive reinforcement.  We teach the whole child, and strive to develop their cognitive skills, social and emotional skills and physical skills.  Sprinkled in throughout the day are also lessons in Christian morals and values, and let's not forget...good manners!  Of course, fun play activities are always integrated throughout our day!

At CNCPP, we apply three methods of daily instruction:

Large-Group Instruction:  We offer the award-winning A Beka curriculum.  Large-group instruction is when the class is together as a whole and the lesson is modified to accommodate both higher level skills and basic skills.

Center-Based & Small-Group Instruction:  Children learn through play. Centers are designed for fun, yet purposeful, learning.  Our centers included many fun learning activities and resources for our children to experience.

Theme-Based Learning:  Every month children get to experience a different, fun theme; from "Community Helpers", to the "Rain Forest".  Children learn about different themes through story books, poems, bible verses, and creative projects.

For children to learn, you must create a engaging learning environment for them.  Our spacious classrooms are clean, bright, and inviting.  We've designed them to be developmentally appropriate to the age group that uses it. We also believe in lots of outdoor play, sunshine and fresh air on secure playgrounds.

Our educators are not only warm and nurturing, they’re all qualified. We believe in professional development through on-going training.  We invest in our teachers and provide core initiatives to keep our staff knowledgeable, happy and motivated.  Happy teachers make for happy children!

We encourage parents (and grandparents!) to be involved in their child’s care and education at CNCPP.  Parents are always welcome, as are your suggestions. We regularly survey our parents and welcome your feedback.  Together, we are partners in your child’s care and development.

Mission Statement

At Christian N. Cooper Primary & Preschool, our goal is to give each child a warm environment that encourages the development of academic skills, socialization skills, independence, and a positive self-image. Our experienced teaching staff embraces the philosophy that each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of social, physical, and intellectual development. Our teachers demonstrate their respect for children by encouraging them to think for themselves, to make decisions, to work towards their own solutions, and express their own ideas and feelings. We recognize and foster an active partnership between home and school, parents and educators.  Our programs are based upon the principles of developmentally appropriate activities and instruction.
